Next Level Flag Football Summer Camps

Next Level Flag Football Camp sessions are week-long, non-contact camps, which run from 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm.  Every football player needs to know the basic fundamentals and skills to play the game.  At Next Level Camps, athletes will learn the fundamentals of football, while competing in a fun, non-contact environment.

Also, you can add an All-Sports Conditioning Camp to make it an all-day experience (10:30 am - 4:00 pm).  You can select the All-Sports Conditioning Camp for your corresponding week of Flag Football Camp at the bottom of the page!

Next Level Camps welcome athletes of all skill levels.  For players who have never played organized football, this is a perfect opportunity to introduce the game in a controlled and structured environment.  While learning basic fundamentals, players will be able to develop their skills and gain confidence. Experienced players can sharpen their fundamentals and learn new techniques through a variety of drills and games.

Flag Skills Camp Week 1:  Monday, June 24th, 2019 - Friday, June 28th, 2019 (1:30 pm - 4:00 pm)
Flag Skills Camp Week 2:  Monday, July 8th, 2019 - Friday, July 12th, 2019 (1:30 pm - 4:00 pm)

Camp Fundamentals

-  Receiving - proper catching mechanics, and route running skills
-  Ball Carrying - ball security, run and escape moves, and handoff mechanics
-  Passing - stance, grip, targeting, and different trajectory passes

Defensive skills - Tracking ball carriers, coverage skills, flag pulling

Age-appropriate passing concepts
-  
Age-appropriate defensive coverages (Man and Zone Concepts)

Camp Format

The Flag Skills Camp provides athletes with an opportunity to try all positions. Participants will rotate through a variety of drill stations to practice fundamental skills of all positions.  Athletes will then get a chance to test out their new skills in age/size/talent appropriate flag football games.
